CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

HOT POWER

Our hot power/vinyasa flow classes are challenging and powerful and will teach you to move with your breath.  You will find a combination of sun salutations, deep opening postures, strong standing poses, and challenging arm balances.  This class is designed for experienced yogis, however all walks of life are absolutely welcome.  

The temperature is set at 90-93 degrees, 40% humidity.

WARM POWER

Warm Power classes are equally as challenging and energizing as Hot Power, just performed at a slightly lower base temperature.  Expect to move, flow, smile, and sweat! 

The thermostat is set at 83-86 degrees, 40% humidity

SLOW FLOW

A gentle vinyasa flow focusing on fluid movement and steady pace and breath.  The pace of this flow will allow you space to enjoy each pose followed by time to stretch before flowing to the next pose.  You will feel a relaxed and renewed experience with this mindful moving.  This class is great for both beginners and experienced yogis looking to slow down their bodies and minds.

YOGA SCULPT

This is a class that will work all of the muscle groups in the body with an emphasis on the core. By using free weights and bands in addition to your own body weight, you will build strength and power, which will enhance your yoga practice. With fun music and a playful attitude, you will gain strength and an increase in functional movement.

YIN

Yin is a style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues of the body.  It is the perfect compliment to our Yang style of yoga (Power, Vinyasa flow).  Yin is a very passive approach where you perform the majority of the poses seated or laying down.  As the body unravels and releases stress, circulation increases and energy ignites!  The poses are held for roughly 3-5 minutes to target connective tissues, fascia, and ligaments with the aim of lubricating and protecting our joints.  Students of every level are heavily encouraged to participate.
